Lee Culver

Vice President of City Gate

Mr. Culver graduated from the Naval Academy and has been on the Penn faculty for over 30 years as a professor in their Graduate Program in Acoustics, doing research through their Applied Research Laboratory. Lee serves on the board of City Gate because he believes that education is the key to helping kids from very disadvantaged backgrounds to have a chance of being successful in life. He believes you genuinely help children when you provide them with opportunities to work hard and learn how to achieve, and City Gate does a great job of that.

Patricia is so happy to be a part of City Gate DC, both as a volunteer through her church and by being on the board.

J Rollins

Mr. Rollins J is co-founder and CEO of ETHIX360 Inc, providing technology to support compliance programs for major corporations and government agencies. He currently serves on the board at City Gate to try an offer a voice for the voiceless in our under-served communities in the greater Washington, DC area by helping deliver much needed services and support to at-risk children. City Gate does this by providing a safe place to deliver educational and material support, in a Christian, nurturing environment that helps these children grow spiritually, intellectually, and physically. He has been involved with City Gate for well over a decade and witnessed these life changing programs delivered humbly and from a servant’s heart consistently.

Monique Brooks-Wood

Monique is our newest board member, who worked as an attorney in New York City prior to moving to Washington DC, where she works with her husband, Norvel "Lucky" Wood (a native DC resident), who owns and operates DC Tours and Transportation.
