Amie Jallah

Overland Gardens Program Director


Amie Jallah is the program director for City Gate's programming at the Overland Gardens site. Ms. Jallah has an extensive background in the development and implementation of community outreach programs and has developed collaborative partnerships with many non-profits and churches throughout the Washington, D.C. area. She oversees the daily operations of City Gate’s Out-of-School Time programming at the Overland Gardens site in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Ms. Jallah provides oversight of daily program logistics, including activities planning, management of volunteer staff, program execution, and communications. In addition, she is responsible for cultivating relationships with stakeholders. She has a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Ralph Jackson

Mary Virginia Merrick Recreation Center Program Director

Ralph Jackson currently serves as the Program Director for City Gate’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers in Washington, D.C. He has over 15 years of managerial experience working with youth in Philadelphia and in D.C. Mr. Jackson moved to D.C. in 2006 to continue his mission of working with at-risk youth. He has participated in many Youth Development Training programs and is very effective in promoting Positive Youth Development. In 2006, Mr. Jackson was featured in Essence magazine as a Do Right Man for his work with young people in Philadelphia. Mr. Jackson Currently possesses an undergraduate degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
